Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to VPN Proxy: Fast & Secure VPN, also identified in the app as Netrail VPN (“VPN Proxy” or the “app”), provided by Hong Kong Real Joy Technology Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Our privacy contact is [email protected].
This app policy is separate from the Website Privacy Policy. The VPN Proxy Terms of Service explain use of the app and VPN service.
App information and VPN activity
VPN Proxy’s current app privacy disclosure is “Data Not Collected”. The app is provided on that basis: we do not collect personal information from the app for advertising, analytics, or user profiling.
We do not track, store, or share your browsing history, IP address, or session data as VPN activity records. We do not use VPN traffic to build advertising profiles or sell it to advertisers.
A network connection necessarily involves routing information and traffic being processed to deliver the connection. Processing necessary to carry traffic while a connection is active is distinct from retaining a history of your VPN activity. This policy does not promise that other parties, such as your internet provider or the websites you visit, cannot observe information available to them.
VPN configuration and choices
To establish a VPN connection on your device, the app requires the system’s permission to add or use a VPN configuration. The system presents this request on your device. If you decline the permission, the app cannot establish that VPN connection.
You control when to connect or disconnect and can manage or remove VPN configurations through your device settings. A speed test or connection-status feature uses a network connection to provide its result; it does not require permission to use your information for advertising.
Information you choose to send us
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, the message, and any attachments you choose to provide. This voluntary correspondence is separate from information collected through the VPN app.
We use correspondence to respond to your enquiry, resolve a reported issue, or handle a privacy request. Relevant email or support providers may process that correspondence to deliver the service. Do not send passwords, browsing histories, payment details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Providing support information is voluntary. Without enough detail to understand an issue, we may be unable to resolve it. Sending an email does not give us access to your past VPN activity.
Other parties and destinations
A VPN does not replace the privacy policies of websites, apps, internet providers, or other services you use. When you log into a website, submit information, accept a site’s cookies, or share content, that destination may receive information directly from you under its own practices.
We do not treat your use of VPN Proxy as consent to sell, use, or disclose VPN user data to third parties for unrelated purposes. A request for assistance or a legal request does not create records that the service does not retain.
Retention and security
Because we do not retain the VPN activity records described above, we do not maintain a browsing-history archive for you to retrieve or delete. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, retain a relevant business record, or meet applicable legal obligations.
We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect the service and information sent to us. No online service can guarantee perfect security or anonymity, and a VPN does not protect against every threat, unsafe destination, compromised device, or disclosure you choose to make.
Privacy requests and concerns
You may contact us to ask about our practices or request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold in connection with your correspondence, subject to applicable law. Additional rights may apply depending on where you live.
Email [email protected] with the subject “VPN Proxy privacy request”. Describe the request without including unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. We will explain any legal or technical reason why a request cannot be fulfilled.
You may raise an unresolved concern with the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data or the competent privacy authority where you live.
Children and family use
VPN Proxy is a general-purpose connectivity tool. The App Store’s content rating is not a substitute for the legal authorisation required for a child to use a service or provide personal information. Where parental or guardian involvement is required, it must be provided.
The app is provided on the no-data-collection basis described above. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support without any required authorisation, contact [email protected] so that we can investigate and respond appropriately.
Changes to this policy
We will publish any updated policy on this page and update its effective date. If the app’s practices change, relevant disclosures and any required consent must be provided before the new processing begins. A website update alone does not authorise an undisclosed change in how VPN information is handled.
